This bracelet features a porcelain focal cab with a Mimbres Rabbit design that was transferred to the cab.  The cab is bezeled with seed beads and the top medallion area is fully beaded with size 11 japanese seed beads.  The medallion area with the cab is backed in leather and mounted on a metal bracelet core.  This core is adjustable and is completely covered in soft goat hide leather for a very comfortable fit.

From around 200 A.D. to about 1150 A.D. a group of farmers lived along the banks of the Mimbres river in southwestern New Mexico. This pottery is distinctive in its intricate geometric designs with fine lines and stylized figures of animals, humans and bugs. After about 1150 A.D. their villages were abandoned and no more of their pottery is found.
