These lovely earrings feature a  murrini butterfly wing..  They are made by layering colored porcelains into a 'log' with the design right through.  It is then sliced to reveal the design.  Each earring is one slice off this 'log'.  They are finished of with a mother of pearl finish.. 

They are hung on sterling silver earwires.
