These earrings are sculpted to resemble the rare Mississippian period Head Pots.  The head pots are thought to be either an honor to  ancestors or to celebrate vanquished enemies..  These are made from porcelain, from hand made molds made from my original sculptures.  They are hand painted with underglazes and highlighted with bone or stone beads and strung on sterling silver ear wires.
