Double Snake Design Medallion with Viking knit co

This medallion was hand beaded and is backed with black leather.  It features a  porcelain cab with  a double snake design design. The snake design was transferred to the cab and then hand painted with china paints for a very durable heirloom finish.  It is beaded with size 13 chec charlottes, very small beads.  The cord is a copper handwoven Viking knit chain

The moundbuilders were actively creating a variety of artwork during the Woodland and Mississippian time periods.  Many tribes are descended from them.  The Choctaw are one of these tribes.

Size:  Medallion is 2 inches in diameter and is on a 20 non-tarnish copper Viking knit chain
