This lovely set features a spider design inspired by the suncircles of the ancient mound builders.  Also known as the grandmother spider, water spider, or weaver the spider is an important native symbol.  the circle surrounding the spider is similar to the sun circle stone carvings of the spider from the ancient moundbuilders.

It is hand painted porelain.  The little pod/cage drop is bronze.  The chain is a hand made viking knit chain made with an enameled copper wire so it will not darken or blacken your skin.  The hand made copper cones are coated with a protective coating as well.  It fastens with a commercial copper toggle clasp.

The earrings  are hung on sterling silver earwires.
