Key Marco Cat Effigy Statue
Item: CAT3

This cat statue is fashioned after a wooden statue that was found in Key Marco florida.  The original statue was carved from wood.  This reproduction was hand built with native clay using a coiling method.  The facial features were carved in then it was hand burnished with a stone. It was traditionally fired outdoors in a wood fire which was incompletely smothered creating lovely colors.

Size: 6.75 inches (175mm) tall 2 1/8 inches (58mm) wide 2.75 inches (72mm) nose to tail.
