This pot was inspired by an illustration of a mississippian period piece. The original artifact was dated to 1200-1600 AD
Materials and Techniques:
This pot is hand formed from Native Clay which I dig and process myself. The details were carved in and it was hand burnished using a polished stone. It was then fired traditionally in a wood fire.
Size: 4 1/8 inches long by 2.5 inches wide by 2 inches tall.
