Choctaw Mother and Child Sculpture

Mother and Child sculpture This piece celebrates motherhood.  This lady is dressed in traditional Choctaw dress.  This sculpture is hand made from hand dug native clay using the coiling method and then further carved and modeled to its final shape.  It was hand burnished and fired outdoors in a wood fire.
Size:  8 inches tall by 4 inches wide at bottom
