Fish Bowl - Miniature

Fish Bowl - Miniature This tiny bowl is similar to several fish bowls that have been found in many of the mounds of the Central Mississippi Valley.  This particular bowl is smaller than the original mound builder pieces, it is a 1 inch to the foot scale miniature suitable for use in dolls houses and miniature scenes.  It is made so it can stand on its own as pictured here so you can display it on a shelf or in a curio cabinet.  It comes with a small certificate that tells a little about the ancient pieces and that certifies that it is made by a registered Oklahoma Choctaw Artist.

Size: 7/8 of an inch head to tail 3/4 inch top fin to bottom fins 1/2 inch thick from hole to bottom of bowl.

Materials and Techniques: This pot is hand built from terracotta, hand burnished, incised and kiln fired.
