Miniature Raven Knife

This knife is inspired by ceremonial knives and raven effigies.  It is hand sculpted from black stoneware, the details carved in then fired to around 2000 degrees F in an electric kiln.  This knife is somewhat sharp, has been sanded and polished.  The polish is enhanced by a wax finish.  It could be sharpened more by careful grinding on the edge and could be polished more by sanding with finer and finer sand paper.  It is intended to be a unique display piece reminiscent of the original flint knapped obsidian knives.

It is approximately 3.5 inches long.
