Racoon Head Pipe

The Racoon head pipe is an original design pipe it is not fashioned after any historical piece.  This pipe is hand formed from Native Clay which I dig and process myself.  The details were carved in and it was painted with the dry brush technique using colored slips.  It was traditionally fired outdoors in a wood fire.

Racoon is a good sign.  He is intellegent, cunning, clean and very helpful.  He is a good protector. Racoon is a symbol of your curiosity.  He will help you explore places and things you have never seen. As your spirit guide he will remind you that sometimes you need to wear different masks in your life.  Racoon people usually wear different masks to hide some aspects of their lives. Racoons like to help people, you can make prayers, wish, and leave food for the racoon asking for help with problems.
