Sm Mimbres Serpent Pot
Item: MIM-POT

This small pot features a serpent design from the Ancient Mimbres around the top.  A geometric design found on another Mimbres bowl was applied in a band around the bottom.  This pot is not a reproduction but was made in the style of the ancient Mimbres and with designs gleaned from that genre.  It was hand formed from native clay using the coiling method.  It was then burnished with a rock and the design was hand painted with underglaze.  It was fired in an electric kiln.

Size:  3 inch diameter by 3.5 tall
